Has your mom and dad ever got a divorse? Well Pinky's mom and dad did. My Mom's Wedding is about a girl named Pinky,her mom Caro and her new dad Tim.Pinky feels a little down because her mom got a divorse and her mom is getting re-married and she thought she wouldn't get used to him very well. Pinky thinks its a bad idea because she feels bad for her real dad. The mom said her and are just joyful friends. After her mom said that she felt even worse for dad. But she thought to her self maybe he Tim isn't that bad after all. She loved her new dad as much as her real dad. Eve Bunting spreads the message of getting a new dad isn't that bad in the book My Mom's Wedding. I think Eve Bunting wrote this book because she does't want us to feel that your real dad and your mom don't care about each other anymore because your mom is getting re-married again. Pinky feels in the book she likes her new dad. I think Bunting uses alot of illustrations and details in her stories. When I read Eve's books I see that she use's lots of picture details an her books her illustrations are great! Also when I read her book her picture's match her story. When you're reading her books her illustrations and details are so good you'll feel like your there because of her details,illustrations,words and pictures. Sometimes when you're reading her books you don't even need the pictures just to help you feel like your there! When I was reading one of her books I was wasn't looking at the picture's and I felt like I was in the book because of her words.
